East Tennessee Adventure

Waypoint Vets, Adventures Unlimited, Hiwassee Outfitters, Ocoee Riverside Farms, and TN State Parks are teaming up to deliver an incredibly dynamic co-ed experience in scenic East Tennessee. Veteran participants will take on professionally led Class 3-4 white water rapids on the Ocoee River, experience guided rock climbing in Cherokee National Forest, enjoy kayaking down the Hiwassee River, and an exhilarating day hike that visits eight intimate waterfalls.
Lodging includes 4 peaceful riverside cabins on a rustic retreat property called Welcome Valley Village, nestled in the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains. We will enjoy home cooked family-style meals, lunches in nature, nightly bonfires, and riverside reflection circles. Airfare *not* covered. ALL other expenses covered.
The entire Waypoint Vets team is composed of Volunteers. We cover all of the costs and provide the necessary gear for our Veteran Participants. This is only made possible through monetary donations and in-kind support. Thank you!
