(FULL) CANYONEERING 2021, LAKE POWELL, AZ

Veterans: Join us on an epic 7-day Canyoneering / Kayaking adventure at beautiful Lake Powell, Arizona! The costs are covered and gear is provided for our Veteran participants. We will engage in breathtaking rappels, use teamwork to navigate the canyons, hike in and along the Virgin River, surrounded breathtaking scenery. In the evenings, we will return to base camp, cook dinner, enjoy camaraderie and conversation, and reflect upon the day.
Itinerary
Day 1, Sep. 22nd: Flights to Phoenix, AZ. Issuing of In Memoriam dog tags, Waypoint Gear, Canyoneering gear and trail packs. Settle in, have dinner, get acquainted with gear and each other.
Day 2 – 6: Sep. 23rd – Sep. 27th, 2021: Set out on our 5 day Canyoneering adventure in the wilderness of Arizona. We will engage in breathtaking rappels, use teamwork to navigate the canyons, kayak on Lake Powell, all while surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
In the evenings, we will return to base camp, kayak Lake Powell, cook dinner, enjoy camaraderie and conversation, and reflect upon the day. On day 6, we return to the hotel.
Day 7: Sep. 28th: Transport to Page Municipal Airport, say our goodbyes, and flights home. *More specific itinerary details to come
